About the Kids’ Run for Nature
World Wildlife Fund Canada's Kids' Run for Nature is a 1 kilometre (km), 3 km and 5 km fun run that gives kids the chance to get active in nature and raise funds for the conservation of wildlife they care deeply about.
The Kids' Run for Nature is a national movement driven by kids and families who are taking action for nature. With more than 30 locations across Canada, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved from coast to coast.

How You Are Helping
Global wildlife populations have declined by 60 per cent on average over the past 40 years — and about half of Canada’s populations are also experiencing decline. With your help, WWF-Canada is working to reverse this.
In Canada, 84 per cent of habitats with high concentrations of at-risk species are inadequately or not at all protected. Thanks to your help, WWF-Canada is working to conserve ecologically important regions, create a network of protected areas and restore wildlife habitat across the country.
The climate crisis is putting the future of the planet as we know it at risk. WWF-Canada is working on nature-based climate solutions to reduce the release of greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere and increase our adaptation and resilience to the changes that have already begun.
