Make sure to personalize your page. Set your fundraising goal, add photos or videos to share your story about why you’re taking on the virtual climb for nature.
- Let your friends and followers know that you’re doing the virtual climb by:
- Sharing a link to your personal fundraising page on social media and tagging your friends.
- Post photos and updates about your own challenge on social media as you approach April 4 & 5 tagging @wwfcanada and using the hashtag #VirtualCNTowerClimb.
- Challenging your friends to join the virtual climb and beat your fundraising goal (a little competition can be a whole lot of fun).
- RSVP-ing to WWF-Canada’s Virtual CN Tower Climb for Nature Event on Facebook.
Ask for company support. An employer donation or match can go a long way in helping you meet your goal and earning amazing fundraising prizes.
- Send emails to your friends and family using the email tab in the participant centre.
- Ask them to support you
- Ask them to join your team
- Say thank you
